About me

The Story…
So Far

I lead design for brands, campaigns and digital products: work people enjoy using, and that sells.

For the last five years I’ve been building and leading teams. Today I run our Graphic, Marketing, Development and Cinematic teams, and my job is to keep them pulling in the same direction, so the work actually ships and ends up in front of real people.

I’m Greek, and I have spent the last decade exploring a wide range of design disciplines, including graphic, product, UX/UI, and 3D. Along the way, I have also developed strong marketing expertise, which allows me not only to create visually compelling work, but also to ensure it is effective and delivers results.

Design is not just about aesthetics, but about solving problems and bringing ideas to life.

What I believe

I believe that design is not just about aesthetics, but about solving problems and bringing ideas to life in ways that resonate with people. This can take the form of a seamless interface, a strategic marketing campaign, or a product that enhances the user experience.

How I lead

For the past six years I have led design and marketing teams, and as Chief Design Officer I now oversee several teams across different departments, providing guidance and support and coordinating complex projects and marketing strategies. I prioritise collaboration, creativity, and a professional yet approachable working environment, ensuring that projects are both successful and enjoyable.

Beyond design

Development is my hobby. I love writing code and building things for the web, which helps me design interfaces that actually work when they are built. Away from the screen, I love building and fixing computers, from choosing every part of a new build to bringing an old machine back to life.

Design that moves the business

Three projects that show how I work: getting different teams to agree on one plan, building a tool that fixed a real problem, and growing a team from one person to twenty.

How I connect design to results

  1. 01Agree the goal

Every project starts with one business goal and a way to measure it, agreed with the people who own it.

  2. 02Design to it

Research, concepts and reviews are judged against that goal, not personal taste.

  3. 03Build it right

Development, marketing and video teams are involved early, so what is designed is what ships.

  4. 04Measure and learn

After launch, the results feed the next brief, so every project makes the next one better.

Can you align cross-functional stakeholders: Product, Engineering, Sales and Executives?

In this caseAligning business goals, sales operations, developers and creative teams to transition a manual business into a digital platform.

Design & Marketing Lead · ELS

From phone orders to a wholesale platform

OverviewELS wanted to move their simple blog website into a wholesale platform so companies could buy and reorder liquids online, rather than relying on phone calls.

  • 3Teams involved: Web Design, Graphic Design, Development
  • 5People led: 2 developers, 2 graphic designers and 1 web designer
  • B2BSelf-serve wholesale portal, replacing phone orders

The challenge: aligning sales & operations

The biggest hurdle wasn’t just building a website. It was getting everyone on the same page.

The Sales Team

Was used to handling everything manually via phone calls and worried clients wouldn’t adopt a digital portal.

The Development Team

Needed precise requirements to build a secure, functional B2B backend for wholesale accounts.

Management & Executives

Wanted a seamless transition without disrupting ongoing revenue.

How I aligned the stakeholders & teams

As the lead, I acted as the bridge between business operations, creative execution and technical development.

  1. 01
Unifying vision with leadership & sales

I sat down with sales and management to map out their exact pain points and ensure the new platform would actually solve their operational bottlenecks. This created buy-in from the start, so they felt part of the solution.

  2. 02
    Orchestrating cross-functional execution

I coordinated our internal departments to keep everyone moving together:

    • Web & Graphic Design: built clean, professional user flows and brand assets tailored for a B2B audience.
    • Development: translated those designs into functional code, ensuring technical feasibility for wholesale accounts and secure checkout.
  3. 03
    Managing handoffs & blockers

I ran regular syncs between design and development to catch technical roadblocks early, so the creative vision didn’t get lost in translation during coding.

The outcome

By aligning stakeholders and synchronising our Web, Graphic and Development teams, we delivered:

  • A fully functional B2B wholesale platform that replaced manual phone orders.
  • A smooth transition for existing clients, who adopted the self-serve portal with ease.
  • Freed-up sales time, shifting the team from manual order-taking to growth and client acquisition.

Case study 02

Can you scale a team, and tie design decisions directly to business outcomes?

In this caseA tool I designed and drafted on my own, for personal use, that became an internal product for scaling the team, and then a software asset for other companies.

Design & Marketing Lead · Internal product

Operational CRM platform

OverviewAs our design and creative operations grew, managing projects, employee tracking, holidays, ongoing tasks and approvals became chaotic across multiple spreadsheets and communication channels. So I designed and drafted the whole initial idea myself, for personal use, to keep my own team organised. Only after that did it move forward as an actual project, growing into a fully fledged internal CRM platform. Once executives and external stakeholders saw how much it streamlined our daily operations, plans began to move forward to implement it for other companies.

My idea, start to finish. I designed and drafted the entire initial concept on my own, for personal use: the workflows, the UX, the wireframes and the interface. It only became a company project after that.

Scope
  • End-to-end product design
  • Operational workflow mapping
  • System architecture coordination
  • 3Teams involved: Web Design, Development, Stakeholders & Leadership
  • 4Operational pillars: people, project timelines, holidays and approvals
  • 8Phased milestones, from core architecture to multi-company scale

Inside the platform

Names, companies, clients and figures are blurred to keep internal information private.

Dashboard: every tool, approval and who’s off at a glance
Team calendar with projects, leave and live time zones
Leave requests and holiday allowances in one place
Multi-company access, built for rolling out to other businesses

The challenge: operational chaos

Fragmented tools

Team tracking, project timelines, leave management and creative approvals were scattered across different, disconnected tools.

Bottlenecked approvals

Reviewing and approving design and marketing assets lacked a centralised workflow, causing delays.

Lack of visibility

Leadership had no single source of truth to see what team members were working on or how projects were tracking in real time.

My approach & execution

  1. 01
Designing & drafting the whole idea, on my own
    • I designed and drafted the full initial concept myself, as a personal tool for my own team, before it was ever an official project.
    • Instead of looking for off-the-shelf software that didn’t fit our exact workflow, I mapped out the core operational pillars we needed to track: employee allocation, active project timelines, holiday tracking and asset approvals.
    • Designed the initial UX and wireframes with a focus on absolute simplicity: a dashboard where a manager could see team capacity and project health at a single glance, without digging through endless menus.
  2. 02
Structuring a phased rollout for scale

Because this was a large-scale project spanning complex workflows, I organised the entire development and rollout into 8 distinct phases. Breaking the platform down into phased milestones, from core database architecture and employee management features to advanced project tracking, automated approval workflows and multi-company scalability, let us test and validate each module in turn with the team without overloading our development bandwidth.

  3. 03
    Cross-functional collaboration & development
    • Brought together our Web Design and Development teams to turn the workflow concept into a real, functional internal product.
    • Led the design sprints, user testing with internal team members, and iterative updates based on how the team actually used it day to day.
  4. 04
    Proving value to stakeholders
    • Rolled it out internally with our teams. Once the system was live, it drastically cut administrative overhead, eliminated missed approval bottlenecks and gave complete clarity on timelines.
    • Presented the platform to executives and stakeholders, showing how it solved our internal scaling pain points. Recognising its broader potential, stakeholders decided to package and adapt the platform for implementation in other companies.
The outcome
  • Operational efficiency: streamlined internal tracking for employees, projects and approvals into a single, cohesive dashboard.
  • Productisation & business impact: turned an internal operational fix into a scalable software asset with commercial potential for other businesses.
  • Team scale: provided the structural backbone that let our multidisciplinary teams scale without administrative gridlock.

Case study 03

Can you scale a team and mentor others?

In this caseGoing from a one-person squad to a 20-person team across four disciplines, and moving from doing the work to mentoring the people who do it.

Design & Marketing Lead · In-house

Scaling from 1 to 20: the creative & technical engine

OverviewWhen I started, I was essentially a one-person squad, handling everything from branding and design to marketing execution and basic development. As the company grew, the workload multiplied, and relying on a single person became a bottleneck for growth. I took charge of building, scaling and structuring our internal talent, from a solo operation into a 20-person multidisciplinary powerhouse spanning four core teams: Graphic, Marketing, Development and Cinematic.

Scope
  • Hiring roadmap
  • Team structuring
  • Cross-department management
  • Workflow scaling

From a one-person squad to a 20-person team

  • 4Core teams: Graphic, Marketing, Development and Cinematic

The challenge: growing pains & bottlenecks

The solo bottleneck

As a one-person squad, every request (brand assets, marketing campaigns, web updates and cinematic media) landed on my desk, making sustainable scaling impossible.

Hiring & structuring

We needed to work out which roles to hire first, how to onboard talent, and how to structure departments so they wouldn’t operate in silos.

Maintaining quality at scale

As the team expanded, keeping a unified vision across graphic design, marketing, development and cinematic production required a solid operational framework.

My approach: scaling from 1 to 20

  1. 01
    Defining the hiring roadmap
    • Analysed the company’s growth goals and mapped out our greatest operational pain points to set hiring priorities.
    • Started by bringing on key specialists in design and development, then gradually expanded into dedicated marketing and cinematic roles as business demands evolved.
  2. 02
    Establishing the four pillars

Structured the growing organisation into four distinct, collaborative teams:

    Graphic Team

To handle high-volume branding, visual identity and asset creation.

    Marketing Team

To run targeted campaigns and drive user acquisition.

    Development Team

To build and maintain our digital products and web infrastructure.

    Cinematic Team

To elevate our storytelling through motion and video.

  3. 03
    Mentorship & culture building
    • Shifted my role from doing all the work to guiding, mentoring and unblocking others.
    • Established clear standard operating procedures, regular feedback loops and cross-department syncs, so new hires could ramp up quickly and collaborate seamlessly.
The outcome
  • Successful scale: grew the department from a single person into a cohesive 20-person multidisciplinary team.
  • Meeting company needs: by scaling the team across four pillars, the company gained the internal capacity to launch complex products, run major marketing campaigns and produce high-end content at the same time.
  • Leadership evolution: built a company’s operational foundation from day one to maturity.
